Job Summary
UX Designer JD What to expect: Your main role will be to design and optimize the user experience for a website handling both information and transactions around the Government-Paid Leave scheme.
For this role you will need to be able to: Plan and conduct usability tests, surveys, and analysis in line with business objectives Interpret data and qualitative feedback and translate research findings into actionable recommendations and presentations Create prototypes and wireframes in Figma Implement new pages and screens based on the current design and suggested flow from stakeholders Design user flows and edge cases Support visual design and illustration work Working closely with the development team in an agile environment
How to succeed: A designer who is passionate about user-centered design; you are knowledgeable in design best practices, and have a great visual design sense and an eye for detail A team player who is able to work within a self-directed culture and navigate ambiguity At least 3-4 years of professional experience in digital design, with experience in designing informational digital products You are competent with the basics of User Research, Interaction Design, UX Writing Preferred: You should have a portfolio that showcases prior work in information design/research, and other UX work and be able to explain your design decisions.
Bonus (but not required): Experience in front end development technologies such as HTML/HTML5, CSS, SCSS JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design Experience in digital accessibility
