Position: Consultant – Java Application Support Engineer
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: BE/BTech/MCA/MBA
- Experience Level: Freshers/Experienced
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Basic Core Java, with an understanding of data structures.
- Competent in Core Java development and SQL.
- Strong grasp of object-oriented principles and an ability to produce clean, well-structured code.
- In-depth experience with Core Java, data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and Collections.
- A technical professional with a proven track record in Java development and implementation.
- Practical knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.
- A passion for technology, problem-solving, adaptability to new skills, and a willingness to share expertise and knowledge.

- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.

Job Description:
As a Consultant in Java Application Support Engineering at Genpact, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
- Providing enhancement and development services in a Java/Database environment.
- Offering support for Java applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and end-users to oversee the complete software development lifecycle for Capital Market Clients.
- Contributing to the design and documentation of software architecture, based on existing architecture and client inputs.
- Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed.
- Engaging with clients for requirement gathering, work status updates, UAT, and playing a pivotal role in the overall project engagement.
